The Kesselhaus – Where Heritage Meets Culinary Passion
The Kesselhaus, built in 1910, and the Färberei from 1914 are lovingly restored buildings located on the former textile industry site in Karlsruhe-Grünwinkel, originally established in 1899. The blend of authentic industrial architecture and contemporary interior design gives the restaurant, wine bar, Färberei, and library a uniquely charismatic atmosphere that is one of a kind in Karlsruhe.
Since September 2019, a fresh breeze has been blowing through the Kesselhaus – while the outstanding quality remains unchanged. Long-time Chef de Cuisine Sven Hemmann is now also leading the business together with his wife Lisa Hemmann and his brother Chris Hemmann – the trio known as Hemmann to the power of 3.

The magnificent, heritage-listed barrel-vaulted ceiling from the early 20th century, combined with state-of-the-art event and conference technology, can be tailored to suit any occasion.
